Red Iron shop anchor bolt supports install with a little extra and easier way to level

How I install my anchor bolts and level them because the form boards are not always level vertically. Hope you are enjoying the content.

I used 1 x 6's side by side for mine because I had it. I liked watching you work, kinda like me. Inspector made me tie wire some rebar pieces on top of the J bolts so I did it for his self esteem. All 18 of my column feet went on with no issues.

Rolling out there insulation and putting sheeting up yesterday and today and tomorrow and the next day and the day after that...... 😂🤣😂🤣😎 but we are making progress. Just me and my 74 year old dad, I hope I am half as tough as him when I am that age.

Great video! Thank you for sharing. I'm presently evaluating the feasibility of doing our own foundation prep work for our future barndo farmhouse and your videos are tremendously helpful! Questions: Who did you get your steel bld kit from, and was it and your foundation plans stamped engineered prints? What state are you in? We're in Florida.

Thanks. Good luck 👍 I bought my kit form Alabama Steel. All the red iron kits that I looked at did not come with foundation plans. I have built a lot of houses and shops in my life and just learned what it takes for a foundation in my area. But the main thing to remember is that what I need here most likely will not work where you are. I am in east central Alabama. Again good luck with everything.

Yes sir. I did all 8 locations the same. Worked out pretty good and the red iron went together great.
