I saw the Vegas show last week, which was supposed to be their last show. Amazing is an understatement. It was far and beyond the best concert I have ever seen. When giants get together to play extraordinarily difficult music with verve, joy, and ease, there is nothing quite like it. Hats off to these four geniuses.

They always look like they’re having so much fun. Something that was missing from most Crimson incarnations. Their joy really translates to the audience

The last time I saw KC( which I recorded) about 6 years back....they were SURELY enjoying themselves.

Looks like a fantastic show! These are the only musicians good enough to do this justice. That's a lot of talent on that stage right there! Awesome!
@privateer0561Ай бұрын
Not really. Saw Darryl Hall and his band play it with Belew. They killed it. It's not hard to play; what's the big deal?

@@privateer0561 TOOL is my all time favorite band and Danny is top notch and I've been a Steve Vai fan since his Flexable album!

I should have been more precise with my comment, I wasn't saying that they were the only band to do this song justice, but to do the show justice. Carey and Vai are amongst my favorite all time musicians. Sorry about any confusion.

@morrisgautreau6704 - The “only” musicians who can do this this music justice? C’mon - lol For starters: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKe8qYaJqpiWhdU&pp=ygUOZnJhY3R1cmUgY292ZXI%3D Apparently Fripp says she’s the only one he’s seen/heard who’s played this entirely correctly. She can probably do the 80’s era too…but Fracture is probably harder technically

Any Jazz fusion musician will do justice. Steve Morse and his band will play it easily...

I'd love for Adrian to mention John Wetton in the intro too, RIP. But sure is great to hear the music kept alive and these guys having a fun time

I said the same thing too- saw beat in new hampshire- never mentioned John wetton. Yes he was in king crimson and yes he helped cowrite and play the bass guitar in in it first.

Great energy and groove! Really enjoyed these little shreddy licks thrown in. Great bass lines, Tony Levin is killing it. Love the slimy green Parker. Steve could bring some Les Paul shaped Ibanez(ARZ? Artist?) though. It would be more adequate imho. Anyway lovely performance.
