While on vacation visiting my brother in Hawaii I brought my camera along to test out the Komodo and our latest PLFX "Cinema Hard Stop VND" Filter. Hope y'all enjoy :)

If I’m being honest, something feels off with the shots. It almost feels like the colorspace is off or a grade didn’t get applied? Am I wrong?

Was this also shot with the Dream FX diffusion filter, as well as the VND? If so, was it the subtle version of the filter? I love the slight hazy diffusion in the shots, or was that just the lens doing the magic?

this comment section has made me realise the amount of people who are used to everything being shot on a DJI gimbal
@ILaxative3 жыл бұрын
Are you saying that this in a good or bad way lol?
@OmarOmarOmar3 жыл бұрын
@@ILaxative well ,in a sad way cause not everything needs to be robotic smooth. I quite honestly hate things filmed on a gimbal and much prefer the shaky look. But it seems like a hell of a lot of videographers buy a gimbal when they get their first camera and then disregard handheld movements
@ILaxative3 жыл бұрын
@@OmarOmarOmar oh I see. That makes sense. I remember it was a time all I saw gimbal work and all motion on KZbin. So annoying lol.

How? I feel the natural shake was intentional. Its a Cinema Camera not a DSLR/Mirrorless. These guys have steadicams and gimbals if they want it to be extremely smooth and he made that while on vacay lol
@dna82693 жыл бұрын
Meh IBIS is so overrated. Put the camera on a stabilizer if you want that look

All I could think about while watching is how long you had to wait for the camera to boot up and be ready to shoot each time you wanted to get a random shot xD Nice footage, thanks for sharing!
@anthonyrock50399 ай бұрын
There is a great pre role mode for that kind of shooting. Quite easy to grab shots. Unless you mean that the camera is packed away with no battery or lens attached. The camera also doesn't overheat as easily as a consumer mirrorless and is fine being on all day with a couple of V mounts.
