Great review! I just ordered the same bag thanks to it, and subscribed to your channel. What size is the Eagle Creek "Pack It Folder" in your bag if you don't mind me asking (e.g., Large, Medium or Small)?

I saw your follow up and I have to agree with your feedback that the straps covering the side panel zipper are a huge mistake in the design. At least one side should be completely available (like the CPA). I have most of the carry-ons that Red Oxx makes and they are great. I also have the CPA, which has the full zipper available outside the handles and it is PERFECT for throwing my passport, phones, keys, etc in it to get through security. I also carry either the sky train of the tres hombres, which together with the CPA these are the perfect total solution. If I can one-bag it I carry the AirBoss, which has the open side pocket and the small zip pocket for the same function as the CPA. They have lost that functionality with the mini! I will pick one up if they change it, but probably will not if they don't . Otherwise close to a perfect bag.

Thanks for this review. The bag looks great and is well designed. But not sure it's going to be practical for me since I don't think I can fit a pair of shoes in there, which is almost always essential for my travel. And it's just a bit big for me to justify as a second bag to carry (which I almost never do anyway). But I'll keep thinking about how I can use it because I'd love to find any reason to buy!

I typically wear my business shoes, then I pack a set of super thin/light Vibram 5 fingers shoes for workouts. I'm kindof a minimalist. I do have coworkers who like to travel with multiple sets of shoes, which would not work with this bag.

On my feet. I generally don't pack shoes other than an ultra-light pair of vibram 5 fingers for workouts

Not all bags have red interiors. PR 5.5 Safari color has no red anywhere in bag As of 8/8/16. Perhaps it's the carry on sizes that all use the Red interiors.

LKN4WAR any Red Oxx bag with foam padding in it will be lined and in some cases to separate pockets internally.
