read the series in middle school, and i was OBSESSED with it. i kept up with the author for when the remaining 3 books would come out, but by the time the last came out, i was sick of the series 😭 it stopped making sense to me after some point.

This book was DNF for me. Too much tell and not enough show. Great summery so I know how it ended. Feedback, I think taking 5 seconds to explicitly explain the difference between silvers and reds would have been helpful.

I liked the first book when I read it... then I saw a sneak peek of the second one and I was like: "why is Mare insufferable?" so I never read the rest, even though I was invested because the potential was there, I just thought they ruined mare (and quite a few reviews and commentaries agreed so I spared myself).
