Nice reaction! This is one of Su-Metal's four solo songs. Besides this one, there are Amore, No Rain No Rainbow and Rondo of Nightmare. This same Budokan 2014 show has an excellent version of Rondo of Nightmare with an intro by Kami Band.

It's one of my favourite performances of Akatsuki, if not the favourite . 16 year old Su just dominanting the stage . That look right at the end would have grown men running home to their mother 😮😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Great reaction. This was the second night at the Budokan in Tokyo in March 2014 as they released their first album. The Budokan is the most prestigious Japanese venue for concerts (it is actually a martial arts arena built for the 1964 Olympics) and BABYMETAL were the youngest average age female band ever to headline there - they sold it out two nights running. Su was just 16, Yui and Moa still only 14. These were also the shows where the Kami Band finally became their full time support for all live shows. 'Akatsuki' was one of three songs Su-metal performed as solos that night. Yui and Moa performed 2 songs as the duo known as Black BABYMETAL while Su got her chance for a break and the Kami Band, as well as coming up front for the guitar duel in this song, were all up front and centre for two instrumental intros before songs during the course of the evening.

Excellent as usual, Grington. I will add that musical acts at the Budokan are by invitation only. Not only are Babymetal the youngest act to ever get booked, they also had an unprecedented. and mind-blowing, TEN shows there in 2021, from Jan 19 to April 15.

⚡ / 🔴 🌙 As you dive deeper into BABYMETAL, you'll discover more Su solo songs. There are three more that were studio tracks, like 'Rondo of Nightmare', Amore' and 'No Rain, No Rainbow'. 'White Love' and 'Tamashi no Rufuran' were cover songs that Su sang at a couple of early concerts, and 'Kagerou' was performed as a solo song during the 2018 World Tour. Also, there are Kami Band solos that served as introductions to a few songs like 'Rondo of Nightmare', 'Catch Me If You Can', 'Kagerou' and メタり！！(Metali) at some performances.

Great reaction, thanks! Watching this particular song and performance (alongside her two other solo songs from that show) was what made me a die-hard fan. Some one defined her performance as "the glazed topping over a huge metal cake". And I love it. 🤘🦊
