Buckle up! The books are a wild ride. Since this video I have read the next two books in the series. So good.

Good review as always. Though I agree the theme is not super strong, you do need to finish the first three books to understand some of the synergies with the cards. The next two books are great so you should read them regardless. I believe that you will enjoy the game more knowing the characters, and how they work together.
