I played with this band in 1965 in Boston ma. They had changed the name to the five fascinates. The only name I recall was Paul the organ player. Good musicians, great guys. Good memories.

Actually, they called themselves The Facinators. They wanted to call the band The Hurricanes but Johnny's managers threatened to sue.

I was 13 years old ,rock n roll was new and exiting feel good ,get up and dance nothing to worry about, just made us happy. Our generation was very lucky with all the great music through the late 50s 60s and 70s.

Well, well, the original Johnny and the Hurricanes, and I don't care if they are miming! They had their own solid sound, the whirring sax and the old fashioned lead break. Many aspirant lead guitarists must have cut their teeth on J & H. Iconic instrumental rock group of the late 1950's.

Fueron una banda muy popular en aquellos años 60, y a lo largo de su carrera dejaron una impronta muy propia y personal, que influyó nonablente en numerosas bandas pisteriores, entre otras, podemos mencionar a nuestros queridos e inolvidables Relámpagos.
