You are generous in your knowledge and you do have a gift. And I believe the more a person gives the more they receive. Because your passing along the joy of painting it’s beautiful.

Absolutely beautiful and love the anthracite pastelmat paper idea. Makes me want to give it a try. The darks come out so nicely and enhance the final work of art. Sorry I missed it live, but the recording is certainly appreciated. Thank you Dasha and your team for all you do to keep Red Rock going. The story of her husband's passing and the use of her name was sad in a way, but then her name is now on every piece of art - Stephie!

Wonderful Instructive Pastel Video. I would like to know how she would set the pastels, either with glass or a setting spray?

She never uses a fixative to finish. She sometimes uses one if she’s repurposed paper and needs more tooth. I’m on her Patreon and have been studying with her.
