Being able to grab and pick up that rock proved that machine is no toy. Buying it was money well spent. You should be proud.

You are definitely improving your ability to operate that digger. Awesome job, and again I am surprised by the power of the digger.

You should consider doing a time lapse with some music over the project I think it would get a lot of traction. Have a good weekend.

That was impressive size boulder! One reason for me to purchase it few days ago was these videos as they show nicely in practice what the machine can perform. See the challenges, troubles and performance with capabilities. Needed to check what it is called in English to differentiate "Rock" from "Boulder". And came to two common definitions; 1) Boulder is not movable by a one person, and 2) Boulder is over 256 mm (10") in diameter. So there is that). And then smaller was are called as Cobbles or Pebbles. Where Pebbles are < 40 mm in diameter, and Cobbles are 40-100 mm in diameter. So there is that to learn. Because as all those are rocks, it works to call it rock. 😀 But that power is impressive. You don't want to be moving those by hand. Would require to use lever or other method to pull it elsewhere with winch etc. Now counting in hours to wait when mine will arrive and get to assemble it.

Getting better for sure Dave, the 2nd load lineup was way better. Looks like 90° too your digger seat position with the back wheel right by the anchor spade. Another way to get that position on lock is to leave your bucket were you want to dump and just sight the bucket to centre deck 👍stay safe team 🙏

Do you not have grease zerks (fittings) on the bucket pivot points and on the ends of each cylinder? They sure do help with the life of everything Yer doin' great! I made a very simple blade for mine from a piece of a grader blade. It's no bull dozer but it helps smooth things up a bit. I realize that you have a blade on Lola but the one on the digger allows me to reach into places easily compared to the 4x4. "Golfin' with the digger". You can always get the rock in the hole when you can dig the hole! ;)

Great work moving those big rocks. Digging and moving those by hand is a pile of work.

It appears you have jettisoned the outrigger dolly wheels in favour of dragging the machine via the side by side. If you added a thumb to the boom; would the machine have enough power to pick up that rock?

It has a lot of hydraulic power so I assume it would easily pick that up yes

i was wondering if all the hydraulic hoses came with the spring guard on them? turning the machine more perpendicular to the bed of the truck and swinging in from the back may work better. it amazes me how strong that little machine is.
