We are very proud to own the pay check that Red Shelton used to pay himself for this episode. It has his signature on the front and the back. We found it on eBay a few years ago. Red paid himself to portray Freddy the Freeloader with this check How cool is that?

The video quality was better. Martha Rayes's rendition of the Beatles song was good. Imagine a season and half the lucy show was already broadcasted in color. That year Cinderella came out, the remake. Still, Red skeleton producers weren't so sure of color broadcast yet.
