Maybe red snapper is a ghost that Is able to travel around the world or maybe he is from an alternate timeline and the reason he hasn't been seen for 12 years is because he has gone back to his timeline

I honestly don't know what to say, the backstory is very surprising and I don't know how to feel about it. If I had to guess, red snapper is a ghost of sorts, maybe he was built by some unknown locomotive builder and lived for only a few days before dying for some reason (maybe a fire or an explosion that ended up destroying his designs, maybe it happened during WW1 and the incident was covered up and was quickly forgotten) and he is roaming the world, what for is anyone's guess

@@Combes_ my point is that Tugs is set in the twenties, therefore its likely that Steam engines were not the only engines at the bigg city port. Same with sodor too.
