Yes sir it is a shimano torium16hg on a 80-200 lb shimano trevala rod heavy. It is great for him.

Paul D. Fishing Yeah their are many lengths and power options but I got a minn Kota 72” 112 lbs of thrust, 36v in series. I have three interstate 27 class marine deep cycle batteries on my 22’ century center console. lil pricey, buts it’s a game changer, you won’t regret it.

Use baits dead or alive as big as your fist when fishing for red snapper, you will target the big ones.
