Nice that you interviewed Chase, Corbin! He is also very solid at the plate and has a good approach in addition to having some pop! Could turn into a decent major league player!

I really like the depth Corbin gets into on promising prospects. I like tracking the prospects and it's hard to find up-to-date on them.

We definitely need more guys like Chase at the plate. It's great to see Gasper and Sogard work an at bat. There's nothing more deflating than a guy going up there and striking out on 3 pitches.

Great interview, Corbin. Yeah, Meidroth is an impressive batter. When you watch him bat, he blinks a lot between pitches, as if making visual adjustments. It seems weird to watch, but it works for him. Both Meidroth and Campbell are in my Top Ten prospects. Both should be productive players in MLB soon.

Idk wade boggs, tony gwynn, Masa, I think having an elite eye plays at the pro level. I hope Redsox hold on to this prospect. Ted Williams had a great eye just saying it helps hitting. Ty Corbin Go Redsox!

There are good arguments for Campbell having a better ranking than Montgomery and even Teel.

I love Chase Meidroth's answer that he highly values making contact and hates to strikeout ... The Red Sox have struck out on average of 9.69 times per game this season ... The MLB team needs to adopt a more determined mindset by putting the ball in play more consistently ...

It's nice to know there are so many hitters in the Red Sox system. Am I missing something? Where are the pitching prospects? Half the game is spent on defence, you know on the field, what about the guy on the bump ? Obviously that position is not a priority with the Red Sox.

The Red Sox are the team they were anticipated to be after a strange April that made them look like a pitching juggernaut. I think its great but then again I'm sorry it's not what everyone set their hopes on.

A guy who can control the zone plus really good bat control could probably hit 30 doubles just at Fenway alone.

I think Chase and Nick are interchangeable. One will be traded the other will be a utility player. They both can be Brock Holt types. I think Nick will be traded over the winter. The Red Sox need contact hitters they strike out way too much. Valdez will also be tried. You will still have Hamilton, Grissom, Meyer could also come up and play 2nd because you still have Story until he gets hurt. You also have Campbell in the wings. I believe he will end up being the 2nd basemen. But you also have few more players in low minors. This is a very good problem to have.
