I know eh, crapping all over the balcony, we do have a few of these hawks around, I am pretty sure you have them too just have to keep and eye and you will see them from time to time, I yet have to see one hunt a pigeon, fingers crossed.

I wish we had this red tailed hawk in my town. We have an infestation of pigeons in my town! Poop everywhere especially on cars whether parked on the street or driveway. Its becoming a nightmare

Sometimes I wish I had a pet hawk to throw at birds that every now and then poop on my car. I hate when birds do that nonsense.

Absolutely incredible animals. I know a red tailed hawk. Quite a territorial one, I had put her down on her perch and when I had tied her down and was taking my hand away, she footed my gloves hand. You can really feel the power in them when that happens and it gave me huge respect for these wonderful birds. Though I will say: Don’t get footed by a golden eagle or any bird of that power or you’ll get the big oof.

1:01 So, is it safe to say the hawk CHASED the pigeon and DEPOSITED it in it's gullet?

Pigeons are incredibly smart and resilient. In real nature they would nest on rock cliff sides. In cities buildings represent cliffs to them, bonus for them that humans have wiped out they're predators by taking out all the trees that would be home for various hawks, falcons, eagles and owls. Last but not least humans litter food scraps all over the place which is like putting out a daily buffet for the little buggers. Pigeons adapted to a drastically changed environment which makes them incredibly smarter than a lot of other birds

They normally put them on the edges so birds can’t hang their ass off the ledge and shit on you as you walk by. Which they will! 😂

@hhds1135 жыл бұрын
@@CaSama Understand this is called nature. If you love birds as you say you are, you better accept that the Hawk needs to eat to survive. If you have a problem with that then don't watch videos like this or any nature show. Nature is more cruel then you think. Plus Pigeons are considered as pests.
@hhds1135 жыл бұрын
@@CaSama Again, pigeons are considered pests and will be dealt as such. And you think I don't love nature? I never put words in anyone's mouth. And seems to me you're butt hurt because my opinions hurt your feelings. Too bad. Nature is cruel so is this world. You best not to leave your safe space then if you don't want your feelings to be hurt.
