Red Tarn Wild Camp - 12-06-24

Our latest adventure sees us taking a wild camp at stunning Red Tarn.
On of the most spectacular locations in the Lake District, Red Tarn sits in between Striding Edge and Swirral Edge.
Red Tarn has an elevation of 2356ft, making it the highest tarn in the Lake District.

Great🎉 I was hoping you'd walk up to the summit as well. Stunning views. I'm off to Oberammergau on Tuesday and will hopefully be able to walk a hill or two and take some pictures I haven't already taken several times.

In the 70's with The Outward Bound, we would camp a lot lower than Red Tarn, then in the mourning hike up to the Tarn then take Swirl Edge up to the top

Hiya Craig. thanks for watching again. Yeah, first time camping at Red Tarn - it won't be the last, it's such a spectacular location. The drone injuries have all gone now, the moral of this is 'don't take your eyes off it when it's right above your head. Take care.
