Is there really need government authorized verification documents for job in gov companies or private

Yes, for most companies in the US they require your legal documents and a background check, government jobs especially ones that may require security clearances may have a more thorough background check and requires more personal info about you, I’d make sure depending on what role/company you’re applying to.
