Red Velvet honestly doesn't get nearly enough of the recognition that they deserve. Russian Roulette just reached 100M views after a year and a half and most of their others aren't even close despite how good they are. They've been holding back on R&B title tracks ever since 7월7일 wasn't well received but I'm glad they're finally getting back into it because this is who they are and they deserve to release these chill MVs regardless of whether they super popular or not

I feel that Twice has the most mass appeal (bc they are filling an industry slot), but Red Velvet has the most quality music out of the groups mentioned. The fact that each member brings it in terms of vocals, visuals & charisma means they definitely have the potential to be *THE* girl group of 2018. red velvet is not the reason f(x) haven't made a comeback, it's more like their internal 'problem'. they won't make a comeback without vic, so they make luna-amber subunit instead. you know what actually scares me? that SM will debut a new girlgroup later this year, that's why they give red velvet so many comeback because after that they will focus more on their new ggroup.

Red Velvet's being experimenting with the whole rnb vibe to their b-sides from the beginning. Their first mainstream foray into rnb tracks was 'Automatic'. I think with 'Bad Boy', they've found their musical persona and so I really hope SM keeps going in this direction with their songs

You know Danny has a very picky taste when it comes to the music he likes. So when he really likes to a music in the 1st listen itself it says something(i respect his opinion even though he's no professional musician). I've liked the song very much on a couple more listens. It has a nice R&B groove and it's a nice break from all the super upbeat dance music :)

Tbh red velvet has much better discography than most girlgroups. They are better than SNSD for sure.. And yes sm currently investing on rv..they literally the only sm girlgroup active nowadays.

Vira Permatasari . Rv music is better. Probably because their vocal , i am not talking about vocal skills fyi . Rv vocal , they are all have similar tone which is not a bad things , it makes their song go in one flow , one tune in. In snsd they have a powerhouse vocal ( TTS & sunny ) & lesser vocal. There is big difference between them and for me it ruin the flow of their song

Agreed. Their songs are a bit like Twice, mainstream and for the mass. But some are not really mainstream though. And tbh listening to SNSD is more enjoyable than Twice somehow.

The thing about Red Velvet is that this is only one of their many concepts. You’ll never know what they’ll come up with next. Every album has a mixture of different genres so that whatever concept they come up with next it doesn’t seem misfitting
