I recommend you if you want to understand future songs to watch first the m/v and then watch a lyric video (be careful cause some of them have bad translations, you’ll notice it bcs the lyrics won’t make sense) I think it’s the best way to understand their songs although they usually have really poetic lyrics so you’ll have to interpret them

Red Velvet are one of the best vocal groups if not the best. Also I love how they can switch from their velvet to red sides! I personally love their velvet side because I love R&B. They’re my Ult group & I’m excited for this journey. 😊 Also wendy is having a solo debut on the 5th!

Wendy is gonna debut as a soloist this April 5 and already flexing that the 5 songs will have different genre. Anddd one of the tracks is "Bestfriend" featuring Seulgi. (Wendy and Seulgi are both 94 liners and both born on February) PS: Be Natural is actually a remake song from an SM sunbae, S.E.S - first SM girlgroup. SM usually do that with their gg to remake a song after their debut song. Girls Generation - Girls Generation (yep they remake a song from 80's having their group name as the title) f(x) - Chocolate Love by Girls' Generation Red Velvet - Be Natural by S.E.S aespa - Forever by Yoo Young Jin aespa is SM new girlgroup after 6 years. Same as picking your fave RV song, esp when you dive in to the b-sides too! Monster rookies indeed! Be Natural is actually a cover song (S.E.S original, a first gen girl group) but they did own that one. For every Be Natural x Automatic concert performance, people die. Background vocals, layering, harmonies must not be missed when listening to Red Velvet songs. So glad you notice those a lot 👏🏼

They didn't add subtitles until their latest MVs. I think Zimzalabim (2019) would be the first one for RV.

I am so excited for Wendy's solo debut. We were waiting for that for years. She is debuting with solo album with 5 songs. Wendy actually has lots of solo OSTs. She has sang OSTs for many popular Kdramas and she sings atleast one OST for Kdrama each year. She has also collabed with John Legend. You should react to some of her OSTs such as Two Words(Startup Kdrama), What if love(Touch your heart Kdrama), Goodbye(Beauty Inside Kdrama) and many more. Sadly SM Entertainment didn't promoted any of the Wendy's solo work. She is the least promoted member of RV by SM. The vocal talent that this girl holds is unbelievable. SM used to sleep on Wendy. It hurts so much. Finally she is getting what she deserves.

They're not your typical Girl group and If you don't like a song at first listen Give it always another listen coz their songs are not your typical/generic sound They have always have that unique flavor in their songs. Ah yes. Be Natural is actually a remake of an SES (1st gen gg) song from 2000, and Taeyong (from NCT) was actually still a trainee here. They all killed it though! Aw man, I actually can't wait for you to get more into Red Velvet. Their music videos are wild, and their songs honestly never disappoint. I saw a playlist with 60+ Music Videos with Red Velvet (some short and inexpensive but awesome still) and there were a couple missing that I noticed. And the B sides all could of had MVs and gotten more recognition. Plus all the travel, LevelUp shows they have done will make u completely fall in love with them.

B-sides I’d recommend are Mosquito, Sayonara, and Sassy Me. I like to recommend the less popular red velvet songs because they deserve love too. Since you like the vibe of these two songs, I’d definitely recommend Kingdom Come!
