for me i think the eng ver. is the girl coaxing herself as to how she got herself into this toxic love (until she turned to a psycho) and tells herself that she'll be okay while the korean ver. is how they both are psychos, but who cares? they're just who they wanna be i honestly love both, i love how miserable the lyrics in eng ver. and i also love how elegant the kor ver. sounds but overall, i love this whole psycho concept ❤🔥

It's actually very good but there are many parts that just feel awkward as hell, like the whole bridge and the shots of nyquil part. Though I wish they had kept the "look what you started I'm psycho, you heartless" in the first part of the chorus because it fits so damn well.

I think the whole point of a demo is that it is made while keeping the artist in mind, not the demo maker. The demo maker tried to sing while envisioning what would go well for the artist in question. I remember listening to a demo of some Girl's Generation song. Somebody had pointed out how awkward the demo singer sound cuz of some shrill/deep voice parts. But it fit perfectly with the members who had sharper or deeper/stronger voice perfectly in the final song.

i feel like the original korean lyrics portray a rly intricate relationship that goes beyond just the ‘im miserable i hate u’ vibes that are portrayed in this version... and thats a main reason i love the korean version is becus of the way they sing of such a beautifully strange relationship that these words just have completely omitted by making it just sound like every classic toxic relationship song thats in Western music

This is the literal translation of the bridge of the Korean version (with of course, adjustments like using alternate words and sentence structure to keep the rhythm intact.) I don't see why the original translation is not used. The song sounds amazing without changing it completely. I translated the entire song literally on what the original says. It's pretty good.
