Thanks for the memories of your mom. I was in the kitchen with my mom, especially when she made biscuits. I greased the pans and put the dough in them when she cut them out. I also got the spoon or bowl when she made her cakes. She passed 9-11-13, 2 weeks before her 82nd birthday. Miss her dearly. Hello to Jaxon, Dude #1, and family. God bless. 😊

Now im not sure if you did this but what if you did a candy cane cake? Not sure if it has to be a pound cake but like crush some candy canes and incorporate them somehow and or do a chocolate ganache and sprinkle the candy on top???? Man that sounds good.
