Actually the guitarrist commented on the it's live video saying that he recorded with a lot of admiration for Wendy so I can definitely see the drummer feeling it too!

You’re correct that they have some of the harmonies on a track in the background. It’s because each member usually does their own harmonies in the studio, as can be seen in their recording behinds and heard in their songs, which makes a fully live performance pretty much impossible. One or two members might easily record a total of 5-6 tracks or layers for one line in a song on top of the main vocal track. That’s why the harmonies in their songs always sound so full. They obviously can’t sing their own lines and do all the layers at the same time, so when they do live performances they have to compromise, since Irene for example can’t harmonize with herself live. In their song Talk To Me for example a specific part of the chorus has 31 vocal tracks as shown by the producer. Each member usually does a lead and two doubles, a lower octave, lower harmony and a higher harmony. It’s really interesting actually.

That's right, last year Red Velvet had a concert in England and received a 5 star rating from The Guardian. If I'm not mistaken, so far only RV as a kpop group has received 5 stars in England.

One thing I admire about SM is how much comebacks their groups have and the longevity their groups have as well. They are always on my playlists. Red Velvet have always been on my radar, their vocals are top tier!

Red Velvet performed in London at the MIK Festival on July 30, 2022 at Southwark Park. Irene went VIRAL for her visuals because apparently Londoners haven’t seen the Original Visual live before and were SHOOK. RtoV London was June 6, 2023 at OVO Arena Wembley and the last stop on their RtoV “World Tour” that included a few European and Asian stops. Joy was absent for both stops unfortunately, 2022 due to filming and 2023 on hiatus for her health. Red Velvet live vocals are no joke and you can check out their Killing Voice to see and hear how talented they all are. 🩷💛🩵💚💜

6:55 yeah...... regarding the world tour, the last time they were in USA was in 2019 I believe... even the last year's concert they went only to South East Asia, UK and some European countries. They haven't had a traditional 'World' tour yet in their 10 years where they'll be touring for months on end.

Red Velvet is so amazing and vocal queens!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 I hope you get to react to WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon aka Yoon..the first YG artists and idol to win KING OF MASKED SINGER 6 times! 3rd overall artist to have the most wins. He sang “IYAH” and a very personal song to him called, “365”… his vocals is seriously better LIVE than the original recordings. WINNER in general sounds incredible live and their energy is top notch too! They get you super hyped up! WINNER also has a killing voice too!! The reason why I’m mentioning WINNER is because they are one my ult groups alongside Red Velvet. They also debuted in 2014 and will be celebrating their 10th anniversary too. Just like Red Velvet, they have amazing gorgeous discography and love to experiment with different music genres. They are a self-made group meaning they are fully involved with producing/composing their music as well as album design, choreography, and concept. Super talented, but does not get the proper exposure and priority in YGE tbh. Luckily, they are well loved by GP aka SKOREA and even though their fan base is not as huge compared to other kpop groups. WINNER fandom/fanbase is very solid in both Asia and internationally. I hope you do get to check more of WINNER in the near future. 2/4 of the members are in military service, but will be returning in December. Lee Seung Hoon aka Hoony will be having his official solo debut with mini album in July 15th. So maybe you can start with his solo and work your way into diving into WINNER music. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

There is a reason why Sm's agency can work hard on excessive concept. It's like this. Kara's Gyu-ri, G.I.'s Mi-yeon. It's a goddess concept. I don't hate it. It's rather fun. The reason is that it's really pretty. And actually, they are very humble. 3rd generation Red Velvet, 4th generation Aespa belonging to Sm Entertainment.. Everyone is confident in their skills, so they can digest all excessive concepts. When you meet excessive concepts and skills that are lacking, it's really hard for the audience to watch.
