This song feels like the light in the bottom of a hotel pool at 2am. I dunno if that makes sense to anyone but me, but I felt like sharing.

The tempo change gives such a feeling of falling in and out of consciousness from a blurry, slow dream like state to a moment of lucidity and clarity. Its seriously one of my favorites. The instruments used in it are great as well.

4 years ago, I was institutionalized for trying to take my own life 8 times. I accidentally shared this with a fellow student and I got the police called on me. I was admitted to the local cities behavioural institution. Baker acted. I was there for 9 days. On day three they put me on a medication I had never heard of. Remeron. Within an hour of taking it, I was completely sedated. I couldn't talk, I couldn't see right, I couldn't feel anything, but most importantly, I couldn't say no to the doctors questions. I felt like a husk of a human being. I remember I wasn't able to stop picking at the loose threads on my hospital socks. I was confused and scared. This song perfectly replicates what my head felt like. The off, untuned guitar. The vocals fading in and echoing out, the pure confusion this song irradiates, I felt when on that medicine. I am doing better now. I since then have been diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder and take Zoloft which has changed my life completely.

i got diagnosed with crohn’s disease about 2 years ago, and for the colonoscopy they gave me some anesthesia. i was so scared, i had no idea what it felt like, and if it would even help me at all. i woke up, and can safely say it was the best nap of my life. got diagnosed and started treatment. this song reminds me of that experience of relief and just dreaming/sleeping in general. thank you guys!

Thank god for anesthesia, same thing happened to me when I got my colonoscopys, they just ask you to count down from ten. Usually you get to 8 or something and then you're just out cold without even knowing it. At least for the second time I had to have anesthesia used on me I could sorta tell it was coming because it made my hand hurt a bit before I ko'd.

I've only been under the knife with anesthesia once, and it was for removing my wisdom teeth. Even though it was only once, I still remember how vivid the experience was, and this song perfectly captures the feeling. Confusion, drowsiness, falling in and out of consciousness, and then... Awakening.

The intro especially (alongl as the rest of it) is mind-melting and relaxing. Actually that's probably because it's half past midnight and I'm tired, but it's still a great song.

I have been casually checking Red Vox out from time to time and found a few songs that I have found to my liking, but I got to give you guys credit for this album. While there not all bangers that I'll listen to on repeat, you can still feel the artistic work you've put in to every song. Amazing. I had one mesmerising hour.

I've been put under before for surgery, twice, one was the gas, the other an injection into my IV. The gas was so quick, I went from fully conscious and aware, to out like a light the next few moments. The iv injection was far stranger. I could feel my body slowly and subtly burning as it coursed through my veins, not in a painful way, but an odd, tingling way. Like my body was being pushed down into the operating table, my head was so heavy and I could hardly hold my eyes open. I just kept breathing, nodding my head as the doctors and nurses were around me, asking me questions as I slowly drifted off. My sense of hearing and sight slowly weakening. Soon it all went black. I woke up, my senses recovering one by one, first my sense of feeling, then my sight, then hearing and I was fully awake again. In pain from the surgery, but alive. This song encapsulates that feeling.

I've been under anesthesia multiple times when I was a kid, I barely remember what happened I just remember going into the hall on one of the hospital beds and it all just fading into white I do not know if I was scared but I am glad I got my tubes replaced and removed and my tonsils removed, I truly remember nothing but I remember waking up in a hall with curtains to my sides and beds that were next to me when I finally got up, the confusion stopped after a few minutes when my mother explained everything to me.

I was sedated into unconsciousness twice in my life - first at the age of nine to have my baby teeth removed, second, when my genes gave me the wonderful gift of stomach ulcers at the age of almost thirty, causing internal bleeding... Pray you never have to be sedated for any reason. It's better this way.

This song has kind of been the theme for the past 7 years of my life. Not much has really happened... Some trips sure but i haven't genuinely enjoyed myself for the longest time. These days i exist in some sort of purgatory. Even pre covid this was my norm. And i'm not sure if i can change it. A multitude of things just pile onto one another and are fueled by each other to keep me locked in this state. Eh. Maybe one day.

He's driving again now, for several hours, he's not sure. And with every mile, he loses a few more memories. And he finds another motel, and that night he eats a lot of ice cream, and doesn't remember his dreams at all. He's in a nursing home. Is he old? A room full of windows. And he gives a name on a paper that's not in his handwriting to the front counter, and a frail old man is being wheeled to see him now. A man who's been here for over ten years, but rarely had a visitor. Neither of these two people remember why they're there, or who exactly this other person is, but they sit, and they watch a game show together. And when it's time for Bill to leave, he stands and says something beautiful to him. And neither understand what he means exactly, but the old man begins to cry anyway. And they will never see each other again.
