That was a great feeding mix for your baby worms...I'm sure they will get fat quick!! The scale of feeding these worms is really remarkable!! Great video!! Thanks for showing us how you manage your worm business!!🪱🪱🪱

Those babies won't be small for long after eating that food 👍. The nursery bin looks awesome. You can't get castings any blacker than what yours is. I hope you do a video showing how you get the babies out of the nursery and into the reproduction bins. Your friend in Connecticut

I shot this video a week ago and had no time to edit. Today I feed again and they are double in size. I want to wait 3/4 more weeks before to harvest, I want that they are full adult before to move in the reproduction bins. Between the 4 big nurseries bins I have hundred of thousands of babies and will be really challenging take care of all those worms by myself

@@northeastworms wow that is a lot of rooms for sure. I guess if you come up with a good schedule or routine you can do it. It's not really how many worms but how many bins and how well everything is organized. When are you going down south and back?
@northeastworms2 жыл бұрын
I am leaving tomorrow morning and back Monday. Regarding the routine schedule I am already well organized, is just more time to feed around 150 reproduction bins twice a week

Good morning, Gaetano, from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 I hadn't seen anything from you for a while and was concerned, so I typed in your channel. It showed that I WASN'T subscribed 😱 How does this happen? So I re-subscribed👍 I hope you are doing well and I promise to catch up with your videos. I like the nursery bedding. Your babies will be big and strong soon. 👩🌾👍🪱💓🌺

Thank You very much. Actually I did not posted any video for about 3 weeks, I was so busy to keep up with all the things that need to be done in my small farm. I promise I will try to upload more videos. Thank You very much.

What would the worms do without bananas and cardboard? An abundant staple. I have a crutch too in my unit just in case my wife comes in, they don't realise how physically demanding looking after worms can be 🤣Unfortunately sympathy is running low in my north east of Scotland worm farm x

Can you use sand for grit?
@northeastworms Жыл бұрын
Yes, but I do not suggest using it. Sand is neutral. Do not add nothing to your casting. I did a video regarding this matter. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5CZaGqKlL2Ha7c

Is the limestone added to control PH? If so, would azomite work for this or should we get some limestone?
@northeastworms2 жыл бұрын
Azomite and limestone is the same, you can use either. Both are used not only to boost (eventually) the ph but also as grit and calcium source
