sprong is such an enigma. all he does is score goal after goal, but no one is willing to give him a market value contract. pens dumped him. ducks dumped him. caps dumped him. kraken buried him on the 4th line, after making the team as a PTO, and buddy tucks 21 goals, only to get offered a 1 year deal with 2 tickets? something doesn't add up here.

No, it's actually you who is a joke. It was CLEAR penalty shot. You don't take the puck to your glove on blue. You don't. And the call on the ice was no goal. So fo little leaf d.

@@markiv2942 In 35+ years, I've never seen a penalty shot called in that situation, but let's say it was. My point was that they didn't hesitate to call that yet the Toronto "no goal" not only was clearly in BUT they didn't even call a penalty for Detroit knocking off his own net.

@@jeffreycairns767 It was due an injury that net got knocked. The call on the ice was no goal. The net was knocked off before the shot so it affected the goaltender. It isn't anymore some "puck crossed the line" = goal or "net got moved" = penalty type of thing. "In 35+ years, I've never seen a penalty shot called in that situation, but let's say it was. " Then you don't watch hockey, simple as that. Really tired of this leaf fans who apparently have no f clue about hockey rules crying about something. Then again that's the state of the plenty of NHL teams fans. Just f crying when knowledge is zero. That's why your team never wins anything except single games since they cry like you cry. So f miserable. Keep playing, keep positive and win games instead of WHINE and CRY.

@markiv2942 First off, we have no control over whether the team wins or not. Second, you seem to be the type to tell others "don't whine/cry" yet you'd be the first to do so if roles were reversed. "It always go in favor of the Leafs" is the usual bs yet they get f*cked more then most teams. Just like, somehow, the Leafs are soft and dirty. How tf is that possible? Yet people say it all the time. I get it was an injury but nobody caused that injury but himself. I could understand if he was hit, tripped or whatever by the opposing team but he wasn't. The lost a good scoring chance because a player, just happened, to knock his own net off at the perfect time. I'm glad the Leafs won but this double standard bs is getting out of hand. I guarantee you'd be saying the same thing if it was constantly happening against your team. I don't want either team getting an unfair advantage. I have seen the rare game last year where the Leafs got the unfair advantage and I called it out then too. Either make the same call always or never.
