Red Wolf 100 yard Day 2

Daystate day shooting slugs out to 100 yards , The Daystate Red wolf was having fun this day ?? .. or was it ? The Daystate Red Wolf was not playing ball ?? How many more videos are we going to do about this ? I just dont et slugs anymore ?? Anyway , ave a look and see what we did ?

Awesome video that happens to me all the time one day yes they are good out of my fx impact mk2 25 cal spot on then next day or later in the day the suck lol I think its the weather 😅 I don't know either thanks for sharing bsafe

Just glad I am not the only one who has gun problems from time to time .the trouble is I think sometimes we expect to much .your a real good shot roger an sometimes even you struggle but look at the ranges your shooting at amazing . I remember sighting in air guns at 25 yard end of a bean can for a target lol how far these guns have come now it’s 100 plus yard . Love your realistic vids showing ups an downs all the best an stay safe

Lol at least one thing Roger you go through what every one else seems to go through that is one day there brilliant the next not so,,i still can't find a good slug for my .25 Red Wolf but my Rapid does love the H/Ns and as yet shoots them day in day out.. ps a good watch pal you make me laff

My BSA R10SE 177 shoots everything fantastic. I've never cleaned the barrel. Never fooled with the hammer spring. Has the factory regulator. Got it a little over a year ago. Shot it over 1000 times. Has a great SD and ES. 10.65 gr. around 890fps. Best rifle I have ever owned. Not one problem. From the USA! 🎯

Fantastic video love your style and humour could watch this all day out of my dreamline Ive found the best slug for me is the 21g h&n 218, but just been sent a batch of the jsb knockouts mk2 from Pavel will give them ago this weekend, I must admit when you go back to pellets it's so much easier 😂😂👍 please keep the videos coming they are epic

Having shot 1000s of slugs through my edgun matador .25, I can intimately feel this dear mans frustration. My gun was shooting the nielson 26 grain slugs amazingly well. Sub moa 5 shot groups CONSITENTLY. then I ran out, and ordered more and all hell broke loose. Now its 2" groups at 50. Never mind 1" at 100. What changed? I have no idea! Slugs look fantastic, temperature is roughly the same. Totally baffled! 😕

What I have learnt is , slugs work in some guns , some days . It’s seems “ oddly enough “ that both rifles love slugs sometimes and then not others . I have also learnt you don’t need to run slugs flat out to make them work ? You don’t need this over 1000 fps for them to be accurate and effective .

Hi Roger. Happy New Year. I know what your experiencing with you Red Wolf. I have a FX Crown in 25 fac. I can set it up one day and get it spot on ( I only use pellets) shoots 880 ft per second giving 46ft/lb best compromise for power and shot count. Anyway, I can use it the next day and it’s off !!! Inch or more in all directions 😤 Is it the scope ? The gun ? Pellet? The gun is very accurate when it ‘on’ easy to shoot good shot count. What is going on why is it not holding zero (within a bit ) very frustrating I am sure you agree. Interestingly it never happens with my AirArms s510 sub 12 or my HW100 ! they alway hold zero. I love my Crown in fac but to be honest I rely on my AA and 17 HMR for pest control I find fac air rifles disappointing for what they cost. Love the channel Roger, good stuff 👍

Its probably the barrel is slightly worn inside that can only be the reason

Morning roger , i myself have noticed when testing a variety of different slugs or pellets in my redwolf, it likes to have several rounds of the SAME slug or pellet fired down the barrel ( barrel seasoning i think its called) and only then will they generally play ball , also it likes a full charge of air before commencing shooting ,was I right in hearing you say you had low pressure after shooting the 27 g prohunters? Mine will shoot them fine down to about 200 bar , hope this helps mate

Thinking a bit outside of box here.... it couldn’t be something to do with the weight of your phone altering how the gun behaves. I did notice it shake every time you let a shot off.
