Phoenix No Damage Red 13 Boss Fight FF 7 Rebirth
This may seem easy but doing boss fights no damage with multiple enemies is quite rough in this game and requires a lot of knowledge.
Even thought this fight wouldn't be possible but after seeing a vid proving me wrong i went for it too. This one took like 5 hours+... :D

0:28 Phoenix trying to push Flan away from the attack only to watch her still take damage is the equivalent of Cloud watching Sephiroth impale Aerith on his sword 😢 Actually worse, since Flan is Phoenix’s child, and Phoenix actually tried its best to prevent it from happening 😭 Also: gg wp. You dont even know. That thing tried everything to save flan. It must've been the favorite. One time phoenix dragged me out of my animation mid ability, the other time i threw something and it body blocked it for flan.. Than it dragged flan away like in this one when i went for melee and another time flan prepared for a range attack so i step out of range to cast something and what happens? The phoenix mobil drives by to put flan right before me so it can shoot me straight in the face. Lets just say im glad i found that stardust ray has the hitbox of a nuke but even than it tries it best 😂 And thanks!

It’s complicated cause Torgal is related/a descendent of Fenrir the summon and he has the abilities to making him a Sub Dominant/Dominant how ever you want to call him. Red XIII was experimented on by Hojo which has created powerful monsters cough Sephiroth so just for the pure fact that Torgal has the power of a dominant I would say they would win but with difficulty. Also I’m interested to hear Red XIII Opinions

Thanks for taking the time. A few side notes, this is obviously for full damage and poisen isn't really needed either. A more defensive build would include healing/pray and defensive buffs like shell/manawall to survives the ultimate. You can also get revival earrings at a shop nearby which makes it even easier.

If you still got trouble, get some revival earrings from the shop nearby and save before fighting. The earrings help a lot with the ultimate. Casting manawall or shell beforehand can be very useful too.

I just wish the enemies weren’t so spongy. It looks so silly seeing it sit there, staggered, just taking tons of chip damage. Beautiful game, but I’m having trouble getting into the combat.

I mean this is also a pretty extreme case of that. You will have much faster fights if you go in with everything you have. Same with stagger damage. If you know what you doing you can demolish mobs pretty easy. Same with difficulty settings. To be honest i wished there was a option to have them more HP so i can actually set up some insane combos and the game is also a bit too easy normally. I know hard mode exist but i wished you would get it right of the bat.

I wouldn't say Red is broken. In fact I still think he's on the weaker side. He's extremely good at applying pressure and being defensive due to Sentinel Stance. However, his stagger damage isn't really good. Sidewinder doesn't really do a lot of damage in Stagger and most of his damage is just square spam while in Vengeance Mode. Not to mention the guy can't do air combat at all. In this video you can see that even though the execution is flawless, Tmo relied on summons to get the last bit of damage done, because Red simply doesn't have the damage, or at least that's what I think. Compare this to Tifa (whom I consider to be the most OP character of the roster in the demo), whom in contrast is weak at applying pressure (at least in the demo), but completely and absolutely destroys staggered enemies on her own just with Omnistrike/Divekick spam. She's also constantly swimming in ATB bars if you know how to animation cancel and she can do air combat as well.

Red tanking ad pressuring ability make your party much more balanced and hard to lose to bosses in the first play through . But I agree when high end game comes tank will be useless because you can even solo the hardest boss with Tifa or Cloud lol
