Awesome run Joe, but having that new front bulkhead makes it seem a little more heavy in the front with you having to throttle out to get a nice flat landing vs a straight nose dive

Honestly, I love all the machined work that Arthur does...I've got plenty of Vitavon parts on numerous vehicles, including several on my X-MAXX...but. I feel/believe that this just puts WAAAAY too much weight up front. Don't get me wrong...it's gorgeous, and is nothing less than what I would expect from Arthur...but. I'm fairly certain that, with that much additional weight up front, the ability to do flips may have just been completely removed. In watching your running video, it almost appears as if this thing wants to nose-dive constantly.

The wide XMAXX is awesome. It handles so much better. Id love to see several XMAXXs battling it out on your track. I would get some red clay dirt and put on it especially on the jumps and turns. It is a lot of money but you have to keep in mind that that bottom piece is CNC machine from a solid block of 7075 aluminum. Not only is the material expensive but when your machining away 90% of a giant block of material it's going to take a long time. I guarantee you wouldn't be able to get that same part in your hands in the United States for less than $1,000 from a machine shop
@paulclancy24043 жыл бұрын
Wow lol all these aluminum parts may make it better for lighter bashing performance and longevity which is only what most people do but like kevin said extreme bashing the lighter flexible going be better. Imo even with the arrmas I try stay light as possibly and stick to key upgrades like hing pin carriers stuff worth the weight increase

That is an insane bit of engineering 👍7075T6 aluminum is the best because of its magnesium content. 320$ seems like a good price seeing the quality of the product.

Yeah I'm sorry, this is beautiful but I'm not really for Metal for the sake of Metal. Other things can be done to strengthen this area without adding 3x the weight, $350, and because it's ALL so rigid now the shock with be pushed elsewhere. It's not like the Arrma rigs where the HR bulkhead is small, the Xmaxx Bulkheads incorporate the steering, and right through the center of the chassis. Thanks for the video and breakdown but I feel this is not practical.
