I’m not surprised. They apparently removed 5 hours of content from the game, including the companion hangouts where we could’ve taken any of the gang members out to fish, gamble, drink, attack gang hideouts, go debt collecting, rob trains, banks and stagecoaches. We were robbed of so much content.

Isaac and Eliza were also meant to be in the game. Isaac was meant to freeze to death at the start of the Colter chapter and Eliza has voice lines in the game directed towards both Arthur and John, which implies that she was meant to be featured in the epilogue. There’s also some voice lines in the files where camp members like Grimshaw mention her as well.

Arthur dino cutscene isn't removed. You can still get dinosaur bones in New Austin with Rampage trainer. After collected all dino bones, Deborah will invite Arthur to her house and the cutscene will trigger with Arthur normally.

I wish you could go to the desert area as Arthur but it would be extremely dangerous for him. It also makes a lot of sense for the plague to take place in 1899 and for Tumbleweed to still be up and running rather than when we see it in the prologue. I think that was the original intention but plans changed and they couldn’t change the desert to make more canonical sense.

I experienced the catfish and the dinosaurs scenes with Arthur by using a glitch that can make me reach the far west without getting killed , I was surprised that Arthur can talk in those scenes cause they’re obviously unplayable while using him ( the game forces you to use John to complete them but as I said before I used a glitch ) maybe they knew players will find a way to do them missions

Side business robberies are a bit more fun. Bank robberies are reduced to heavily scripted and boring missions. The game's just discouraging you from being an outlaw at that point.

If you want to explore, IGN has an interactive map that is incredibly helpful. Use eagle eye a lot, there’s tons of stuff hidden just out of sight. The yellow story missions will stay available no matter how long you wait, but the white side missions can disappear. Do not consume ANY other RDR2 content online. Not on KZbin, not on Reddit, don’t even google anything. ANYthing. Spoilers are literally everywhere - wait until after you finish the whole story to join the online communities.
