This made me realize that we don’t know a ton, a ton about the speaker characters’ backstories other than maybe David, Elliott, and Ollie (and Vincent when it comes to early vampire years but not too much of human life prior; and we don’t know a ton at least when we consider how long we’ve known these characters)? Learning Asher has a sister and Milo’s dad has a gambling problem almost three years in!?! For example, I couldn’t really tell you too much about Avior’s or Damien’s backstory. And I know Huxley has great moms, Sam & Alexis were a fling, and that Gavin had a bad time at D.A.M.N. once before, but info on Huxley’s childhood specifically or what state Sam is from or why Aria was so bad for Gavin? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I realized I hadn’t even wondered because I’d been filling in with my own headcanon until we got this info and noooo lol I don’t want headcanon about basic life stuff for speaker characters lol. I would love to know more about speaker characters’ histories (though 😅 lol now if one of them talks to their partner about their past, it’ll be like ‘we’ve been together two years. how would you not know this already?’ 😭)
