Part of me is thinking that maybe that Kirov scheme was the brainchild of Cherdenko (maybe Krukov as well, but I'm thinking Cherdenko), and the people who would have spoken out against this would have been severely punished, maybe even executed. Dr Zalinsky had to get Allied protection before he felt safe enough to expose that plot. And if the vanilla RA3 Soviet campaign is any indication, the same would have held true for Dasha and the other co-commanders as they side with you when Cherdenko backstabs you. Aside from that, the Soviets have been severely beaten down since the war and not really able to fight back against the full might of the Allies, so FutureTech experimenting on Russian civilians just feels like kicking the Soviets when they're down and surrendering.

No, not new campaign, Future-Tech is a company that has been helping the Allies since RA3. They invent new technologies like: - Chronosphere(after Einstein was erased from timeline), - Spectrum Tech (Mirage Tank, Spectrum Tower etc.), - Cryo Tech(Cryocopter, Cryo-Legionnaire etc), - Proton Tech (Proton Collider, Harbringer Gunship, Pacifier FAV etc.) and many more.

Usually the Allied campaign is the canon ending, so i guess the Soviet and Empire campaign are like alternate scenarios.

Kirovs are some of the worst units ever, YES their bombs hit hard, but they're fucking slow and just a few anti-air units or towers can tear them to pieces before they're halfway. Waste of credits.
