I thought Tim's liberal schtick was a schtick for a good, long time, because his stance is often so extreme. I don't know the man personally, but I do believe his persona on Office Hours to be closest to what we the public, fans if you will, see of the real Tim. I think he's probably a pretty decent human being, and to me he is the funniest motherfucker out there. being called a jew is only an insult in certain contexts, like if you tried to underpay for something because cheapness is a jewish stereotype, otherwise it isn't an insult. asking why it's an insult is the wrong question. when people point out that someone is jewish there are a few reason to point that out. for one example, they are disproportionately represented in their field, and the implication is that there is a conspiracy for jews to have power and infuence over America in something like congress, comedy, lawyers, the news, etc. Or, sometimes to just to point out that a person who doesn't disclose that they are jewish may have a conflict of interest when it comes to their country of loyalty. Like if I called out Chuck Schumer for being Jewish, it would be because he can't be objective about the Israel palestine situation. In Chuck Schumer's case, it's not a great example because it is very well known that he is Jewish but many celebrities and """""infuencers""""" do not disclose that they are Jewish. They refer to themselves as white. But white people don't have this religious ethnostate on another continent to which they have birthright citizenship and which receives billions and billions of dollars of aid from America. For a right wing white American, we don't want open borders for example. But most Jews are very liberal, overwhelmingly support democrats globalism etc. when it comes to America but when it comes to Israel, they think Israel should be for Jews only. There's a double standard because they are Jewish and because they don't care about the future well being of America and of white Americans, and that is directly because they are Jewish. That's why you would want to point it out. It's said with vitriol, it's not meant to be polite but it's not an insult either. It's just adding context when the person feels like it's relevant.
