As soon as I seen the buggie shape I had a wild thought of what if you made it Gordon Murray style and do a front center seat. with 2 passengers in the back where their legs go along the outsides of where the driver seat is!!! A ultimate take people out and experience it rig!!!a If not think about it and in the near future could be a grand slam! 😊

The 'Gear-box' has to have the 'Fill plugs' moved up as you've changed not only the angle of it, but the Bearing placement of the gears. The fluid must be enough to flow over the bearings, even tipped on trails. Changing the vents further up was a good too. Always look forward to your builds and this fun.

Love this series. I have this exact frame and suspension. Been wanting to put a 670 in it. So getting ideas of this one!

Okay, I might be interested in that gearbox and front diff. Question is, how much power can it reliably handle? Because I have a 1978 Arctic Cat Panther 5000 with a Suzuki Spirit fan cooled 2 stroke that puts out about 55hp. I'm going to be changing it to a Comet 102c and 90D driver that has a 1" shaft. If that gearbox can handle the power and has a 1" input shaft, I'm sold. Seems to be price reasonably compared to other SXS parts. Also their description is kind of incomplete, what CV axles would slide into it?

That Video made my day, for sure.. are you going to cut the jackshaft in half? I mean if you would make one solid shaft, your diff wouldnt really make sense.. yk what i'm saying?

That buggy would actually been pretty cool if it was actually 4x4 lol

Is there a reason that you didn't overdrive the gearbox? there would be a lot less to fail and lower center of gravity.

I want some insight on those high-performance parts for that engine. I’ve actually got that exact engine sitting in my shop. It needs rebuilt perfect time to scoop it up.

Liquid cooling high rpm motor made for high performance bike, isn't in the comparison class of a low rpm air cooled motor made for lawn equipment lol
@Ratkill9000Күн бұрын
What's your point? That engine turns well over 12,000rpm vs roughly 3600rpm. Liter bike engines might be fun on buggies, but they can really make it not so enjoyable for the average rider.

Fun for big boys but not family friendly. Low reving v twin probably more user friendly
