Redbubble and Society 6 Drama - My views on how you can move forward

If you're a print on demand creator or artist selling on POD sites like Redbubble and Society 6 then you'll no doubt have heard about the drama unfolding. Society 6 have introduced new fee structures, and Redbubble have set up tiered pricing structures as well.
I won't go into detail about these changes in this video because there are already so many resources out there. However, I will dedicate this video to sharing new perspectives on how you can move forward from this drama as a business owner.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I shut down my Society6 shop because it was dreadful (for me) to upload anything (took hours or days) not to mention I never sold a thing in four years. I've been debating on RB because I have sold a few things in the same amount of time, but they put me as Premium which means no fees will be taken out (supposedly!) I very much agree that unless we're selling from our own website (I just posted in your Payhip video) we're at the mercy of the marketplaces we we list at. Thank you for being brave enough to share your comments on this! Ironically, I see another video to my right where she may have the same thoughts as you .. going to check that one, too.

Thank you, I just replied to your other video too 😊 Everyone has their own preferences for where they sell and I think you need to go with what works for you. Redbubble may be it, or maybe not. With every platform it will be slow to start, but momentum slowly builds over time and consistent effort. I wonder if the blog I shared in my other comment will help you with decisions? Good luck anyway and keep in touch, would love to hear how you get on.

@@fernandquill After watching your video and the other one, I decided to keep my RB shop open. with only twelve sales in four years, it's not going to hurt me. I've been at this for almost ten years (longer if you count my other digital ventures) and it's still slow. But, I enjoy creating so I keep on! Will check out your blog post .. thank you again so much!
