This is not a press interview where they smile and nod; its about the LIFE of the surfer. In any life there is conflict; in a life where you attach money and injury to each other there is this kind of conflict. Ok, I can clearly see in this video that Carlos is a very unbalanced person. As much respect I have for his skills and his daring, one should never put surfing before one's family. That is not to say he should not be a pro surfer and should not follow his dream and his passion, he MUST do those things, but one must keep a balance. You will be a better surfer for it.

It's not the cuts so much as the lime juice, which is sour enough when you eat it, imagine it in a shredded wound. Also those coral cuts get infected so easily, and have to be scrubbed out with a toothbrush and then more antiseptic in the wound.
