So swamp buggy racing has unofficially been a sport since about the 1920's or 30's, i believe a handful of networks would broadcast the yearly races starting around the sixties and they kept up with it until about the 2000s when the parent company was sold and they sold the rights. Sometime in the last twenty years or so Lucas oil has bought the broadcast rights and has been keeping up with it since. They've got the entire archive on their site, will occasionally broadcast it on some networks (I think spike or MAVTV) but also live stream em on their site too. It's probably not going to go anywhere anytime soon, unless a lot of big money that's displaced the old money starts complaining to the city board or EPA.
