By far the climber whose style I try to emulate the most. Not nearly as strong or flexible as she is but the efficiency with which she climbs can’t be understated. Love the new acrobatic climbers but no one can hold a candle to Jain when it comes to pure style and grace meets strength.

Is the competition based on time?

Not rly. Idk exactly but there are other factors

thedoonder No not there. She does lead climbing and (in final) who grabs the higher hold wins. They just have a time limit (I think it is 10min) but they usually fall or finish before :)

Each hold they can gain control of is a point, each clip they get is a point and they have a time limit of 10 min. It's changed recently to different time limits (different competitions/organizations have different rules for these points too) which has effected her ability to do well in the overall standings. She's at such a high ability level with so much endurance and efficiency that it's not a question of whether or not she can finish the route but a matter of if she can finish it within the time limit.
