Reminded me of the earliest Rampage days when there was a lot less earth-sculpting, when Gee Atherton and Cedric Gracia and I think also Steve Peat, rode down like they were on a DH track. Many groaned that it wasn't showy enough. What they did was similar to what Goldstone just did.

That was riding on another level. I watch a lot of racing. You can tell this kid is flat out magic. Nobody came close. When he continues to the bigger stages and continues this level of riding, everyone will be competing for second.

Jackson probably the worlds best at carrying speed through such corners. The way he leans into them almost without braking and manages to stay so smooth and not lose grip is unlike anyone else i've seen

Watched this. Looking at the future of downhill mountain biking right here. Only 18 and first time at redbull and won by 7 seconds and made it look easy whilst doing it. The new breed if downhiller has arrived!

After years of gopro footage that makes stuff look easier than it is and becoming a little jaded on it, this is shockingly refreshing. There were a few moments in this where I was genuinely puckering because of how fast he was going through rough stuff! This is a great perspective on an incredible run. Really nice.

Jackson's POV trail previews towards the end of the World Cup season really caught my attention. Casual conversation at mach speed flat out down the trail. I'm not surprised with this win at all. This fantastic guy today gave a lesson to all the big riders at the most extreme competition of this sport, he not only proved to have the skills, a right insanity and a great control, but also a cold blood, because he do not made a single mistake even under that pressure given by all the eyes on him today. The same cold blood has left at least two great riders today, and this makes the difference between a talented rookie and a young champion. Well done Jackson!

I'm nearing 60, been dhing since, the 90s. While progression is continuous, this was like watching a superhero on a bike. The last wooded section he touches earth 3 times in maybe 7 seconds over 100 ft horizon and maybe 60 vert. That was precise.
