There are mugshots of the brothers on the internet and they don't resemble Asian men whatsoever. No wonder they were only caught ten years later when one had to give DNA after committing another offence and it matched with samples taken after the rape.

It was not solved as of a couple of years ago. It was featured on that brilliant show that Prof David Wilson does with Emilia Fox where they take on cold cases and attempt to solve them. I grew up in Leeds but live in the midlands now so took note of this. I think it’s either on channel 4 or 5 and should be available on demand and well worth a watch

@@LANCSKID literally the episode focused on him heavily. Coincidentally I watched the episode back last weekend and the pub was called Big Lills. As a Leeds lad I don’t remember it but it was a dive bar in Leeds city centre which shut in 2004. Even the manager said it was likely the victim and Taylor knew each other which is highly suspicious

Anyone remember a beautiful curly blonde hair Australian backpacker murdered here in the UK in the 1990s down south? Her murder was reported on a crimewatch program and ive been trying to find her. I travelled with her from Leeds on a coach where we talked about her journey she'd been on. I told her i lived in Nottingham and would be leaving her there to continue down to Bristol. We talked about Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest and she said she would come back up and she would contact me by letter and we'd go together a few weeks later. She was making her way down to Glastonbury village and Stonehenge. I never heard from her obviously and was devastated when her murder was reported on the program a week or two later. I rang the program but they didn't seem interested as I'd only travelled with her as far as Nottingham. On the program she was wearing the same clothes she had on when I met her. Purple Leopard skin ski pants and silver baseball boots . My memory has faded a little they may have been gold.😅. She was stunning and her personality was awsome. There's no record of her anywhere online ive searched for years. I've searched every crimewatch program i can find. Please reply if you remember her or have any memory of her. I didn't know her for long but she had a impact on my life before and after she was gone and will always remember her.
