I love this rig too! Most of the haters are western Cali and west coast people. They wouldn't know what to do crawling in the Carolinas or any east coast.

Awesome upgrade on the Ascent, and they definitely work because I seen the truck perform before the link riser was installed and after it was installed 👍

I got the Red Ascent and im amazed at what it can do with a few non-expensive upgrades. There are a lot of Redcat Haters out there but i think in the last 5 yrs Redcat has really stepped up there crawler game. Im convinced for the price you can find a better starter rig.

Honestly your better off not having FB Rc brotha so much negativity especially in Rc groups its almost not worth it. If you just have messenger you can message Ryan short directly thats his name. He takes paypal as well

Ryan sent mine to me quickly (I paid for it) and it works great. I had to use a file and remove a very minuscule amount of material to get it to fit.

Its a cool link riser but needs more info about it. How does it mount? What is the upper link height gained over stock? What hardware is needed to install it? Is there a upper link change needed to keep the pinion angle correct? There doesn't seem to be any information about the riser on his facebook page ; is he looking to sell these on mass or did he just make a few?
@RcDungeon Жыл бұрын
Contact him bud, he's just getting started. I'm not really affiliated with him, it does come with everything direct bolt in part. I wouldn't have even shared it if it wasn't a part that definitely improved the rig bud. He has an Instagram as well unfair advantage I don't do that much social media to many unfriendly experiences IMO. But research look you'll find what ya need. Does retain your factory links as well hope that helps ya bud, thanks for commenting and asking 👍

Can’t find the unfair advantage page but I sent Ryan short a message with the link you provided, waiting to hear back from him.
@RcDungeon Жыл бұрын
Yah thats the guy to message is Ryan, for some reason his page is difficult to pull up. The link he sent me I can't get it to attach and when I do it doesn't work. I'm sure he will contact you, I think he's pretty busy guy for sure. Thanks for watching as well

You didn’t show the part and your link doesn’t work so how can we see what it is
@RcDungeon Жыл бұрын
Yes I'm aware the link doesn't work, its not like hes a mass product manufacturer. I literally pointed to the riser like 3 minutes in the video bud, if your still looking for it his name is Ryan Short can be found on FB little research goes a long way. Have a nice day

Only thing i hate about the FB group is the trend that the only shocks that ever exsist are the desert lickers 😒 Ill keep the stocks and just tune em and if not some dravetechs 🤷♂️
@RcDungeon Жыл бұрын
I've never had a good experience with many FB groups unfortunately 😕. As for shocks doesn't matter to me long as they are setup properly. I just swapped to desert Lizard shocks on the gen8 and definitely was huge vast improvement with a droop setup. Knowing how to properly tune any said part goes a long way for about anything in the Rc or 1:1 world. Thanks for watching and dropping comment much appreciated 🙏
