Hey man! I got a RDS aswell and if you want to upgrade, replace the servo and gyro first. Then do radio. This helped me out alot! cheers

That gyro does like to fight back. I'm going to try and change the radio first and see if having the gyro adjustments on the radio help.

I got the kit on sale 2 months ago for $120. I'm 54 and have been in RC a long time. This is my first drift car and was planning on not using it much. More of a plan to shelf queen it with a classy 71' Camaro body. But I've found myself playing with it for hours on my concrete shop floor!

nice! To much fun to shelf it. You can actually 3d print a fake chassis roller. I seen it on thingiverse and its purpose is to showcase your body and wheels. I believe you can purchase them as well.

@RunThatRC first track day went well. Car is a blast but the plastic steering horn stripped out after about a hour of driving. Ordered up the redcat racing aluminum upgrade. Also swapped on some track specific tires in the rear. Way better!!
