I got some new axles in from redcat and they have upgraded the pin. Sadly it's not like the wov pin that uses the clips but it is one solid piece now that still uses a set screw.

Will the full wov racing driveshaft end fit on the redcat without having to rebuild it from pieces? And has the wig racing driveshaft pins held up better than the redcat ones?

Im thinking the driveshafts are a little too long and bottoming out on side impacts and bending the pin and breaking after a few runs or impacts.

That thermal paste use shows they actually give a sh1t, which is a good thing 😂 Speaking of motor bearings, the ones on my Granite lasted 5 months of abuse. Not totally toast yet, but they sound really grindy.

Funny thing. I emailed redcat about those pins today. Mine broke and they are out of part to replace them rn. It’s a good thing u have those backup parts cars. I told them. Those pins are a weak point. They said they will look into it. But we all know that probably means nothing.

Hey so quick question. Since we are in the same place replacing same parts. I went to redcat that were out then I looked on buddyrc and the part WOV 201 now is that the same part. The slider shaft assembly as the one from the Valkyrie. Could I order that from buddys and be cool? Since u r doing what I’m asking about ordering. I assume it will swap straight over. And I beat redcat by not having to wait for them to get it back in.
