I’ve seen xmaxx shocks break off of the dumbest little things and smaller jumps than that many times, as for arrma it’s usually just a bent shaft because their cars are heavy.

The V1 Xmaxx and V1 Arrma big trucks had issues similar to this too. Hopefully RC Sees the weaknesses and works on it like Arrma and Traxxas have.

Nice brother.... Body looks sick. Upon review I don't think the jump killed it but when you blipped the throttle after to bring the rear back down twisted into that back right. Freak accident. Great short video

How long are the X-Maxx shocks, or Kraton/Outcast shocks compared to the Vigilante? If something lines up, that could leave a ton of options open, especially with upgrades to those shocks, like the M2C options, Vitavon even makes specific shocks, and don’t forget the proline racing shocks for the X Maxx with the resi’s

Both trucks are amazing but because the Redcat is a new platform there are not any upgrades at the moment or aftermarket parts to make it more durable. Until that happens the XMAxx will be the most durable and best for the money because of parts availability. Give it some time and the Redcat will be a tried and true beast like the XMAxx.
