Seen him in the late 80’s. I was a young man then also newlywed to my first wife. We were in Vegas on our honeymoon. Anyway we got a seat up front. He let into us about sex and how I didn’t know what to do with a woman etc. we laughed our ass off. Anyway after the show the security guard come got us and said Mr Foxx wanted to have a drink with him I was shocked and honored. We had a great time. He had an Asian lady with him( wife or girlfriend I’m not sure). He told us that the IRS had cleaned him out and he had to go back to work. He was such a nice man and my opinion the funniest comedian of all time

Yes- he had a great and versatile talent. What I found so ironic was for him to succumb to a heart attack after so many "heart attacks" as Fred Sanford. RIP, Mr Foxx!
