Des you picked a great day to film. This a great video looking back into the UK's industrial age. Many old rail lines were ripped up, canals filled in and aqua ducts pulled down. Glad to see you keeping well 👍 atb Taff 🤠👊

@@DesGreene Waiting for lockdown to end, in Wales we have a 5 mile travel restriction unless it's an essential journey. I started a new job in January and that's taking up a lot of my time. It's all work and no play at the moment.

@@Taffwildmanofthewoods It's a bit more open to interpretaion here, but I've been sticking to walks from my front door. I've seen some videos of the Peak District rammed with cars. I'll refrain from saying what I think of that!

I think we were spoilt at the beginning of the month as the weather has certainly changed wintery again. Very impressive viaduct and I loved the canal, especially with the long boat emerging from the tunnel. Nice walk out Des, cheers Alan

Enjoying your Stockport walks collection. Had a bit of everything with canals, green space and the TPT. Part of the TPT passes near me in Chesterfield. It’s a nightmare at weekends due to its popularity as a cycle trail. Great walk midweek though. I might take in part of it this weekend. Good stuff as always Des

What an excellent route. Also 15 miles! Impressive. Interesting to see the deceased shrew. A little mammal we don’t here much about. Not familiar with this area but we do like river / canal walks.
