Hi, appreciate the tutorial! I have a question about the click data in the Ad manager. So it shows that I got some clicks. I checked the community break down but the click shows 0 there. Instead there is a line called "none" have all the clicks. And my website doesn't show any visitor either. So are those clicks from bots or what are they? Appreciate it if you can help to explain!

Hey healthy_palace - glad you found the vid useful and i didn't actually see the breakdowns yet, so that's an awesome new feature! i'm just looking at my ad manager and i do see clicks by community when I select a timeframe during which my ads were running. When I select a timeframe during which my ads weren’t running, I see none as well, but you would expect that. How have you set up the ad? Did you target specific communities or did you leave that option open? If your website is not showing ANY hits, and you spend enough money on the ads, then I’d double check your technical setup. Once you start seeing hits on your website, I would use a tool like Hotjar to assess how engaged people visiting your website were. I particularly like the video feature of Hotjar. It literally lets you see the screens of visitors and how they moved around your website.

Good question! This is something you can do now, yes! When you're in the ad set-up interface, you hit "Choose Post". It’s a button that sits next to the title “Creative.” Then a new side bar pops up. Switch to "Organic" and you should see your post. Much success!

Hey Rafel. Has running ads on reddit been profitable for you? Let's say for the $500 invested what was the number of leads you got & eventual clients?. Just asking to know if I should choose this over IG Ads.

Hey Ameji, what type of service or product are you selling? In general, Meta (FB, IG) is the best ad platform. Best algos, most data, etc. I'd always go there first. That said, Reddit has good ad credit offers, so may be a no-brainer to trial run for you in addition to IG ads.

The letter M in English is an abbreviation for thousand. CPM is an old advertising abbreviation for Cost Per Thousand - not Cost Per Mile. Thought you might like to know.

Hey Rafael - for B2B targeting the r/advertising or /marketing and similar subreddits seems like a no brainer. Have you ever got bad ad reception from marketing on these subreddits? Can an advertiser get banned from a subreddit?

Hey Steven - agree, seems like good targets. If the subreddit can be targeted via the ad manager (not all subreddits can be targeted), you cannot be banned from advertising into it. That's the benefit of advertising on Reddit. What will most likely get you "banned" is if you try to promote your product or services in the subreddit organically. Mods typically don’t like commercial posts.

hmm, i can't really help you here. i don't even know what an international driving permit is. rule #1 in marketing: experiment. no one can tell you for sure whether something is going to work, so just try it (with a reasonable budget)

Best way to know for sure is to try. But personally, I would first try promoting my video / channel via KZbin Ads directly. Super easy to set up, just hit "promote" when you're on your video. Cheers!

Set up your landing page, install the Reddit pixel, and run some conversion campaigns or another suitable campaign objective. Test whether it works better to advertise into your landing page or product page(s). Use Canva to create some ad creatives and test different creatives. And then think about your target audience. Who are they? What Reddit communities would they be interested in? Target those with your ads. And then it’s lots of trial & error. Keep optimizing your ad strategy, creative and website and monitor your ROAS (return on ad spend) - which will likely be 0 initially until you figure it out. Also, cool thing: Reddit gives new accounts a $200 ad credit if you first spend $100. That’s lots of budget to get started with testing
