I love the concept of a cryptid exterminator, especially the super casual tone of the whole thing. Like "Oh ya know, I helped ol' man George with a Racoon in his attic, then drove down to Will's to take care of a Sheepsquatch, typical Friday workday." I dunno why, but that's just really rad. Also, the thought of what is essentially a Dumpster Mimic touched upon in the first story makes more sense than you'd think, with how many people dumpster dive, which with the amount of people going through misfortune is more than you'd think. I found some of the cryptids listed briefly to be just as interesting as the spider itself.

The classic 15-season show Supernatural is all on Netflix. The main characters (two adult brothers) hunt evil supernatural creatures, including a wendigo in Season 1, shapeshifters, vampires, Jinn, tons of demons, werewolves, ghosts/spirits, etc.

It’s basically R-rated throughout, largely because of the intense action/fighting scenes and dark, disturbing themes. It’s not precise to call it a horror show, though. I found the first season pretty scary at times, but you get used to everything with time, at least if you’re of a sufficient mature age.

its a real cryptid, part of the fearsome critters lineup, alongside jackalopes and cactus cats. Stuff lumberjacks joke about to pass the time. Much like all the fearsome critters, the gimmick is that what you are experiencing could be a fantastical cryptid, or it could just be your mind playing tricks on you.

@@-GOstar- its a real thing too, comes from the tradition of fearsome critters. Its something lumberjacks cooked up to pass the time, alot like jackalopes and cactus cats. Its just alot more obscure than the more charasmatic fearsome critters, so people dont really know much about it. The whole idea is that it explains why you might feel like you are being watched in the woods, or why sometimes you think you see something but when you take a proper look its gone. The story is fairly accurate to the cryptid too Fun fact: drinking alcohol is said to repell them because they primarily feed on the intestines, and have a strong aversion towards alcohol, so drinking it makes your insides less appealing to them
