I'm not saying everyone who is lez or gay has these issues, but at least for teenagers, that's why it happens. They need to grow till after puberty (or 18) to decide, because by then most of them will have finished a large part of puberty. That's why gender transition in particular should not be allowed until an adult, because the kid might change their mind.

Point out that trying to force sexual views on children who are too young to understand such concepts and are very impressionable is child grooming, and should not be tolerated. Log into another account after you are banned to see which ones cannot drop the subject of banning you. This is how guilty people post big neon signs on themselves. I think the justification from the other camp is that they don't agree parents are the children's authorities. Rather, children are communal and the state "lends" that power/authority to the parents. And so the parents can (and are) overruled by state employees (teachers). My guess is that's how they see it

When I was in middle school, I so badly wanted to be a girl. I’d have dreams where I was a girl, I’d imagine myself as a girl, and I honestly thought life would be better as a girl. This was a few years ago, before the trans movement really took off in my state, so I never told anyone that because I didn’t want to be thought as weird. Looking back now, I realize it was just a phase. I was going through puberty, and the hormones were making me think that way. I’m so glad that I never had the opportunity to undergo transitioning, as that would have more than likely destroyed my life. It’s already pretty shitty right now due to some other unrelated bone conditions.

Didn’t make me completely question my own existence and want to go through all the complicated surgery, but I did indeed get through it.
