Oh wow this video brought back so so many memories, i was born in 1934 and before the war spent many an hour walking up Unicorn Hill from Bromsgrove Road to look around with my pals, keep this up if you can please, fantastic !!!

loved these videos. look at the first one and you really notice, how many shops,homes must have been taken down to put the kingfisher, car parks and dual carriageway there

The redditch of my birth 1939, so many memories, small town, lovely shops, everything you could want. The New Town seemed a good idea, but, not the answer. Bring back the little shops get a town back, not the one we had, but not the anonymous offerings, owned by ??? If only...

It says at the end of the video the artist is Steve Young & it's produced by Joe Williams. I've Googled their names with "stop the world" as a possible song title but I've had no luck finding it.

The song is by Redditch band ‘Chalk Circle’ - who sadly haven’t done much in the last few years. Song was never released just a home music project.
