My neighbor gifted me a pack of her oracle cards a year ago.. today I found them on the floor opened and I got the idea to search up Doreen’s name. I used to be into the new age stuff but lately have been leaning more towards the idea of God and Christ and watching these sort of testimonies. so many people in new age really do end up getting saved!

Years ago, I used Doreen‘s Angel cards. I’ve also been a Christian since I was young. But I became very confused and was seeking help. My brother is SO entrenched in the New Age (I got out in 1982) & for someone who jumps through all of hoops & talks about what peace it brings, he is one of the most rage-filled, vile people I know. He is ALWAYS on the verge of an argument, especially with myself or my husband. But I will continue to pray for him until one of us takes out last breath.

I had someone in my life for a short while who claimed to be a christian who walked away from astrology, crystal healing & horoscopes. But she got into many heretical beliefs like Word of Faith, 7mountain mandate, works based salvation, prosperity gospel, & miraculous faith healing amongst many other heresies that are very commonplace in the NAR. But she still showed great interest in those very new age things that had claimed to have abandoned. She also listened to false teachers such as john hagee & derek prince. She came to The Lord from an out of body experience, not from any conviction to repent for her sins, or any desire to take up her cross, & turn from her wickedness. But rather out of fear of being cast into the lake of fire. During that out of body experience, she claims to have visited heaven. Which was a highly emotional experience for her. When she returned to her body, she sought out an old friend from high school who was a deacon at a socially conservative lutheran church. But didn't stay long b/c the church leadership was 'an old boys club', and did not allow women to teach from the pulpit on sunday mornings. She started attending a local mega church which was pastored by a hip, fashionable, young married couple. And like most mega churches, their music ministry included all the high production value trimmings You would find at a stadium rock concert from an A-list artist like Rush, or the Rolling Stones. And she was proud of the music at her church She even boasted that she was strong 'solo christian' who had no need for fellowship or accountability. I tried to gently point her to The Bible & God. I tried to model the Christian Life to her(despite my own falleness), Sharing trustworthy teachers to her such John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham, Steve Lawson, Justin Peters, & Paul Washer. She merely brushed them aside claiming she would give them a listen when she had time. It also didn't help that she had been highly promiscuous for most of her life(30yrs out of 45), and when she admitted that she found me attractive, and that she wanted to sleep with me immediately, I politely refused her advances out of respect for her as a person, she flew into a rage claiming that 'she had needs!' When I asked her if She had ever turned to The Lord in Prayer to help her deal with her 'urges' her response was alarming to say the least: 'NO! If I do that, I'm afraid He'll change me!'🤯🤯🤯 When I asked her about sanctification, & turning from her wickedness, her only response: 'I believe in Jesus, and that's good enough!!'😔😔😔😔 Like your brother, she proved to be one of the angriest, hate filled people I had ever known who was in just absolute misery. Her lifestyle was clearly not in obedience to The Bible to even the slightest degree. And it didn't take long for me to see that she had absolutely no interest in what God thought about her lawless lifestyle, or what scripture had to say about choosing to live a lifestyle commited to selfish pursuits. Even a diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer 3yrs ago couldn't deter her from continuing on in a lifestyle full of wickedness promiscuity, rage, drugs(both partaking & selling), slander, deceit, strife, manipulation, violence, hatred, derision, greed, projection, delusion, self agrandizement, materialism, theft, lawlessness, paranoia & a complete lack of empathy or mercy towards others. After 4mos. of constant prayer, and speaking with the pastoral staff at my home church numerous times throughout that period, God made it clear(providentially) that my time of being a witness to her was over and that it had always been between Him & her. She obviously did not want to change b/c she never truly called out to God in repentence in the first place. She had only decieved herself further into believing that she was saved. Even though I was very sensitive & gentle in my delivery, I made sure not to speak down to her in any way, But The last communication I received from her was a diatribe of character assassination filled with insults & cursing. I continue to pray for her genuine repentence, but from afar. But I will never communicate with her directly ever again. I'm Thankful that God gave me to wisdom to protect myself from her influence, and granting me guidance throughout those tumultuous 4mos.

I was completely emersed in the new age from the time I was 16yrs until 2019 when I got born again.....and I even read some of Doreen's books about star seeds..I believed I was an indigo child.......I completely relate to everything she is talking about and I'm all the way in Kampala Uganda.....😅😅😅... One of the things that bugs me, as someone who did come out of the new age in my early teenage years, is the fact that Christendom seems to lump every special ability or seemingly miraculous capability into the same category of New Age and occult. It's like a knee-jerk reaction to anything that isn't simply a mundane human ability. In other words, I think there are certain things that the scriptures specifically prohibit. And most of them have to do with practices that involve knowingly communicating with and cooperating with deceptive spirit beings. But then there are things that Jesus has described we are capable of doing, like withering the fig tree, like healing others, like telling a mountain to move from here to there and if we believe we are capable of doing so and do not doubt, it will obey us, and then he lists another example of telling a tree to uproot itself and plant itself into the sea, and if we believe without doubting, it will obey us and it will happen. These are examples of what we would call with modern terminology "telekinesis". But I guarantee you if I told the average Christian that I am able through my faith to perform such feats, they would instantly lump it in with new age and occult practices, which it has nothing to do with. They would probably call me a child of the devil and all sorts of other slurs which are utterly devoid of understanding. So what I'm saying is that there are certain things we are told that we are capable of and that are not evil but that do look similar to things from the world of the occult and new age practices, mostly because new age practitioners tend to attempt to do those things too like healing and telekinesis and remote viewing of distant locations in the mind, all three of which are not inherently evil and are not prohibited. But then there are other things, most of which have to do with specifically and knowingly communicating with spirit beings and using their power, that are prohibited. I wish it was easier to get my fellow brothers and sisters to apply nuance to these topics instead of lumping everything together that seems potentially supernatural or miraculous as if it were all evil witchcraft or something. God has given us certain capabilities which are not fully understood or utilized yet. Human beings are not just purely mundane manual task crunchers who can't do anything special and seemingly supernatural. Jesus expounded upon this with his disciples, about how so much more than we believe we are capable of is available to us through our faith - that is our belief without doubt, or the degree to which we have faith without doubt, even as small as a mustard seed he says is capable of great things. Why don't my fellow brothers and sisters take him at his word? Why is there such lack of faith within the church?

No. Many things in God's Word are about spiritual obstacles, trials, not actual mountains or trees, and nothing in God's Word approves of mind-power, or having powers to do unnatural physical things, those are shows from Satan. Devices he uses to distract people from the truth. Please do as Doreen says, read and study the Bible in context, not just picking verses to base your life on. Now that we have the Word of God written, we don't need those miracles that the apostles did, only His Word. In some tribes or communities where there is no written Word available, God may use certain things to open their eyes, but not in civilizations where God's Holy Word is available for people to read. May God open your eyes to His truth, and find peace and salvation in His blood and truth.

Doreen Virtue is someone God used to bring me out of deception. While I grew up in church and professed to be a Christian, I did not realize how lost I was. After a favorite singer of mine shared a meme, Justin Peters popped up, who caught my interest due to shared bad experiences with faith healers. I rejected his videos, for Doreen to pop up, and i realized what I was believing was really New Age under a Christian veneer. Some time of questioning brought me to reading the Bible again for myself and understanding the Gospel. Today, I am thankful for His Word, the ministry of Doreen and His providence.

I went through three different stages of my life where I used tarot. I grew up in the Christian church but my parents betrayed me at a young age and I took up tarot. This last “stage” was hell. At first it was euphoria…. I’d use two decks and always get the same cards… double and triple confirmation on my messages. I was in love with my cards. They told me anything I wanted to hear OR they would predict a disaster. It was scary but I was obsessed. Deep down I still had the Holy Spirit in me from my Christian years and I battled with God. I wanted anyone to tell me that the Old Testament was wrong and the translation was wrong. I was hating Christians and becoming aggressive. Suddenly, I was waking up between 3-5 in the morning every morning and never able to get back to sleep. I had so much anxiety. I was told I was going to hell in my head and that God hated me and wasn’t listening. Meanwhile, my parents were deliverance ministers in the 80s!! I’ve fought my obsession with the occult for years. It gave me a sense of power and euphoria. Nothing has had that kind of power over me. But I couldn’t live in hell anymore. I knew I had to leave the occult and get back to God but it didn’t “feel good” to me. It convicted me and I didn’t like the conviction…. I just put all that stuff away and received prayer. Stacey, I believe that God was working on you, trying to bring you to repentance, but your love for the occult and hating Christians and the Word shows you were not saved, the Holy Spirit was not IN you but outside working. This saddens my heart, and has weighed heavily on my heart for years. Doreen spoke of God spoke of Jesus, and also spoke of angels. Doreen was heavily bullied in the New age community because she is truly gifted, and connected to source. God, source, spirit, creator however you connect. Doreen was a beautiful bridge between organized religion and a spiritual connection to God for those who did not feel drawn to organize religion but new they had a connection a divine connection to God. As someone who is divinely gifted I would never in my life say that my gifts are anything but a gift from God. Humans corrupted Doreen and I feel what she has to truly share is yet to come. As an ACTUAL Pagan (Norse Paleopagan), historian and researcher, I will say something here. Channels like this never get anything right. Every "former" anything never get anything right. Before 1995, Virtue worked as a psychotherapist. Following her experience of being the victim of a carjacking, she attributed "angelic intervention" for preventing her from harm in the incident. Following the event, Virtue closed her therapy practice and began performing tarot readings. Between 1995 and 2015, she published more than fifty books and her divination cards through Hay House, a New Age publishing company. So, she already was angled towards Christianity to begin with. New Age spirituality draws significantly from Kabbalah (Abrahamic combination of Judaism and Christianity). Many New Age practices incorporate ideas like the Tree of Life, the concept of divine energy, and the practice of meditation, which are also central to Kabbalah. If she ACTUALLY practiced New Age, she would know that. She says statues are evil and false idols, but every Catholic church I’ve been in in my whole life is filled with statues of Jesus, Mary, and other figures in the Christian tradition. Let alone she is a conspiracy theorist (Chem Trails are an example). Doreen Virtue is speaking from a place of fear, not love. She’s looking to make people upset with her “bad, bad, bad” babble. She’s certainly not embodying the teachings of Jesus Christ. Honestly even when she was a New Ager I took issue. There's a school of New Agerism that thinks everything is love and light and think every being from angels to pagan deities, faeries and whatever else tickles their fancy is there for their disposal. I can't speak on her as a person since I don't know her personally but she seems to have went from everything is love and light to everything is dark and demonic. Like a shifting of one brand to another, stereotypical New Ager to stereotypical Conservative Protestant. My impression of her from years ago was that she seemed like a snake-oil salesman. So, her entire credibility in the fist place is HIGHLY questionable to begin with. Also, according to her website, Virtue always considered herself a Christian and believed it didn’t contradict her New Age beliefs. As far as her line of Tarot cards... She didn't do any of the artwork for the cards, and some lot of "her" decks are now being published with Radleigh Valentine as the author. So, this also means, she's a fraud. Her understanding of metaphysics was shallow, vapid, and less than honest. I know people who worked with her and she was the most codependent person they had ever seen. She stopped getting attention in one sphere and now she's getting attention from the born again whack jobs. Grifter's going to grift. In short, she is a well known liar, fraudster, grifter... NOTHING she said here is factual.

Even just considering this is new to me, and I’m not convinced. I grew up in a “New Age” household. We certainly had all of Doreen’s angels cards . I am starting to question a lot of it, especially anything related to Channelling (I was about to read a course in miracles but something didn’t sit right which has lead me to these types of videos and research) There are many questions I guess but the one that sits the hardest for me is about Hell. I cannot comprehend that we only get one opportunity to go to heaven and be with God, this one life, even if a person was born into a completely different faith and lives, say in a small town in the middle of nowhere like in India for example, how can they be expected to turn to Christianity? Are they automatically condemned by God who is pure love? How can pure love give so much to some and make the path easy to heaven and others an almost impossible feat? No one has been able to satisfyingly answer this question for me. I won’t believe that God will accept the eternal damnation of good people just because they didn’t have access to Him. I am very open to the discussion and thank you to anyone who replies🙏🏼❤ (Ps I do pray to God, to Jesus, for my family and the world. I just don’t call myself Christian. I need to know if it matters. Just do your research and you will find peace. As for me, I don't believe in hell although all of my relations do because I am in a serious Christian religious home. If you actually believe strongly that based on your deeds in this life on earth that you might transcend to hell, then surely your mind will create that reality for you when you die and vice versa. My dear, all of us are sinners, and are going to hell when we die if we have not repented and turned to follow Christ....doesn't matter where you live or how "good" you think you are. You have a glass of pure water....add one drop of poison in it and it's no longer pure. In sin, we cannot enter heaven because heaven, and God are pure, clean....and no sin will be let in. Crisp white shirt you spill a drop of soda on it, it's no longer clean, but when you wash it properly you have a nice clean shirt again We need to be washed clean of our sin, which only the blood of Christ can do. God created us perfect, but we sinned and rebelled. Until we repent there is no forgiveness and cleansing. God knows everything and if in some deep jungle someone really wants to know God, He will provide a way for that person to hear the gospel so he can repent.

This is exactly the same question I had. A Course in Miracles has answered this question profoundly and given me complete peace. Even that peace that Doreen, bless her heart, did not find when reading ACIM. However, the lessons are very important to do and I recommend listening to the audio book before going to bed or for sleeping in. The peace and harmony I have now cannot be compared to what 30 years of spiritual Christianity gave me. Jesus said, do not judge. And this is the main theme in ACIM. It is the seed of judgment that we sow, that we harvest; either right away with a bad mood, or with sadness, depression and even sickness.

I used to have “itching ears” - I only wanted to hear what pleased or suited me or “manifest” to receive whatever material good I could get my hands on ….I didn’t care about the Word of God or God’s plan. But then I got saved after I made the choice to believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He died on the cross to save humanity all from an eternity of damnation. I decided to accept Him into my heart, pick up my cross and follow Him. There is no teacher above the Lord. And God is not a magical genie here to give us what we want, whenever we want.

This can be true, and it can simultaneously be true that it's not about the level of convincing delivery. But rather, it's about the details of the things she's convincingly delivering. In other words, she may have convincingly promoted her new age practices in the past, but ultimately those new age practices can be proven to be devoid of ultimate truth. Whereas she is now promoting something in an equally convincing manner, but the content of what she's promoting has ultimate truth to it. So regardless of how convincingly she delivers any information, if we examine the information she's promoting and it contains ultimate truth, then her manner of presentation is irrelevant. Because it's all about the data she's presenting. Whatever this woman believes, she will likely convincingly deliver. That's not a flaw. She's passionate, she has a good memory, and she has good communication and presentation skills. It's never about how convincing she is. It's about what she's trying to convince us of. So we shouldn't examine her convincing delivery. We should examine what she's delivering.

Jesus, I appreciate all these videos, but please, we are not Jewish, we are not under wrath, we are Christians under love, the one who had power over evil is God himself, we are not to be afraid of evil, or the devil, not even God, we are to be fearless in trust and in love. To any Christian that might care. I’m somewhere between repenting, and just admitting that my magick practices are demonic and going full Satanist. I’ve been a fundamentalist Christian, and it is so painful. The pain of denying your own thoughts, not just sinful pleasures but not allowing yourself to think for yourself, making every single decision out of fear that God will burn you is unbearable. Doreen is probably right, and I know it. Right now I pray to Angels and Saints and am a beginner Magickian. The Christian life properly lived is self inflicted pain. Everything is evil and leads to hell. There is no joy. I think deep down you feel the same pain I used to, fighting your own nature, fighting yourself everyday out of fear. I am a sinner, but I do not love your God for offering to save me from his own wrath. He demands that we weaken ourselves beyond the weakness we all have as humans. Don’t think for yourself, love those who wish you harm, sacrifice yourself for people you don’t actually care about. Your nations would not be getting overwhelmed by secular powers if you disobeyed Jesus. If you burned the witches and gays instead of love and tolerate them you wouldn’t be losing your freedom. You have turned the other cheek to the point that you are now actually outnumbered. I converted and became a devout Christian for almost a decade, now I’m almost ready to turncoat. I guess the pain is your God could do a hell of a lot better. You have a “sister in Christ” right now being raped by radical Muslims every day as she prays to Jesus to rescue her and save her rapists. You have siblings being murdered and tortured and your God doesn’t even let them fight back. Your God demands your will to fight be sacrificed. And I can talk this way to you because I know you won’t do a damn thing about it. What are you going to do? Pray for me? Forgive me? You’re probably too afraid of God to even tell me to go f*ck myself. You have to wait for your God to exert any kind of power. And I know he is real and powerful but he chooses not to. If you want to talk it out offline, I'm a believer who came out of the new age, but simultaneously believes that fellow Christians have a knee-jerk response to anything miraculous or supernatural that we are capable of, that is not evil and is not part of the occult. And I also believe that it is modern evangelical nationalist Christianity, with all of its traditions, that is the burden weighing upon your shoulders, and not the actual words of Jesus and his disciples. Jesus said that his yoke is easy and his burden is light. If it doesn't feel that way, then you are not under his yoke and you are under someone else's burden. He came to set us free of all that.
